Summer Camp with Fun Theme Weeks

9 WEEKS OF SUMMER FUN

Week 1: June 22nd - 26th
Welcome to Camp!

Our first week is all about launching into summer with “classic camp stuff”! This week will be playing group games, learning names, and making new friends. Our campers will learn how to pitch a tent, play a game of cards, and find the best hiking stick in the woods. Our campers will come home with rocks in their pockets, projects in their backpacks, and great stories to share around the dinner table (or campfire). We will also be learning about how to plant our garden and harvest some summer deliciousness!

***NO CAMP WEEK OF 4th of July: June 29th - July 4th***

Week 2: July 6th - 10th
Adventure in the Great Outdoors

Calling all our adventurers this week! We will focus on exploring our 15 acres of forest, building shelters, watching birds, and learning how much fun it is to be out in nature. This week we will also be making seed bombs, to help our pollinator buddies, and bird feeders for all our fine feathered friends. We will also be getting our feet wet in our beautiful stream, Stone Brook!

Week 3: July 13th - July 17th
Let's Get Wild

We will be exploring different animals this week from the snail to the sea lion. Every day we will be learning new animal facts, making craft projects, and engaging in plenty of horseplay and monkey business. Can you run like a wildebeest or climb like a gibbon monkey? This week will be perfect for you to show your wild side!

Week 4: July 20th - 24th
Dinosaurs Rock!

This week is a digging focused week. We will be searching for dinosaurs, learning about rocks, and panning the stream for gold. We will be making fossils, opening dinosaur eggs, and playing at being a dinosaur. So if your child would like to roam with the dinosaurs, this is the week for them!

Week 5: July 27th - July 30th
Under the Sea

This week will focus on all things aquatic. We will journey to the bottom of the sea to learn about crabs and play in our “school”. Fun activities will include floating boats on our very own stream, playing with water in many different ways, and aquatically inspired art projects!

Week 6: August 3rd - 7th
Fairy Tales

To be in camp or not to be in camp? This is not the question, this week will be a quest and a half. We will be acting out our favorite stories, dressing up like knights and princesses, and pulling swords from stones. If you wish to play out your dreams of magic and mystery, this is a week for you! At the end of the week, everyone will have a chance to shine like a star in our Gage Farm Schoolhouse Talent Show.

Week 7: August 10th - 14th
Hot Mess Express

This week our campers will explore rainbows and color for their science and their beauty! We will be playing with color, examining the formation of rainbows, tie dying, and making art. Campers this week will be expressing themselves with color in the messiest ways possible.

Week 8: August 17th - 21st
Boom!

Get your lab coats ready friends - campers this week will be using chemistry, physics, and creativity to explore and learn about our world. How may you ask? Get ready to hypothesize and experiment!

Week 9: August 24th - 28th
